Pat Walker

PAT WALKER
Chief Meteorologist
Originally from Arkansas, Pat began his broadcast career in Columbus, Mississippi, as a fill-in meteorologist for WCBI. Pat then moved to the West Texas city of San Angelo where he launched the weather department for KSAN, and then into the heart of Tornado Alley where he became the Chief Meteorologist at KSWO in Lawton, Oklahoma.
In 2005, Pat married his best friend, Kim, in beautiful Denver, Colorado. Wanting some place cool to go for their honeymoon, Pat and Kim spent a week in Prince Edward Island, Canada where he ate mussels and lobster for the first time. In May, 2008, their first child, Josiah Chase, was born.
When he is not busy forecasting the weather in Central Louisiana, Pat keeps up with his favorite team—the Arkansas Razorbacks. He is also a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers.
Pat holds the Seal of Approval from the National Weather Association and is a licensed Amateur Radio Operator. You can see Pat weekdays at 6PM & 10PM on KLAX's "ABC 31 News" forecasting the weather for Central Louisiana.
