Thompson Home Health is sponsoring free diabetes classes this week. The class will be Thursday, August 20 at Thompson Home Health from 6p-8p. The topic will be
"Traveling with Diabetes & Correct diets for diabetics."

J.W. McDonald Friends group will have have a garage sale at the Branch Library. As always there will lots of fall decorating items, sweaters, shoes, tee-shirts and other items reasonably priced.

The sale begins Monday, August 24 & ends Saturday, August 29. The hours are 9am-3pm.

Buffalo Soldiers MC will host a garage & food sale on Saturday, August 29 at 7a-3p. The sale will be held at the Buffalo Soldiers club house located at 4727 Lee St. Alexandria, LA.

Proceeds will assist in community service projects.
